Uzbekistan’s Real Estate Market Ends the First Half of the Year with Stable Growth

The Center for Economic Research and Reforms (CERR) regularly monitors activity in Uzbekistan’s real estate market.

Activity in the real estate market increased noticeably in 2026. Following a correction in April and May after the March peak, the number of transactions rose again in June, exceeding the June 2025 level by 20.4% and the June 2024 level by 24.9%.

Real Estate Market Activity in June 2026

In June of this year, the number of real estate purchase and sale transactions exceeded 25,000, representing a 23% increase compared with the previous month.

The increase in activity was accompanied by growth in the number of transactions across all regions of the country.

Regional Overview

Compared with May of this year, the highest growth rates were recorded in Bukhara (50.1%), Navoi (41.5%), and Samarkand (31.8%) regions.

More moderate growth rates were observed in Andijan (17.9%), Tashkent (12.2%), and Khorezm (0.9%) regions.

In year-on-year terms, the highest growth rates were recorded in the city of Tashkent (35.7%), Syrdarya (26.9%) and Navoi (26.3%) regions, as well as in the Republic of Karakalpakstan (23.3%).

More moderate growth rates were observed in Jizzakh (5.7%), Fergana (3.6%), and Tashkent (3.3%) regions.

Nearly one-third of all sales in June were recorded in the city of Tashkent (30.8%), with the number of transactions rising to 7,800.

Real estate market activity in the first half of 2026

In the first half of 2026, the total number of real estate purchase and sale transactions exceeded 171,000, up 25.3% compared with the same period last year. In absolute terms, the increase amounted to 34,500 transactions.

Regional breakdown

During the period under review, an increase in the number of real estate purchase and sale transactions was recorded across all regions of the country.

The highest growth rates were observed in Syrdarya region (36.4%), the city of Tashkent (34.9%), and Navoi region (30%).

More moderate growth rates were recorded in Khorezm (16.7%), Bukhara (15.4%), and Fergana (12.1%) regions.
