In October, total sales of all categories of motor vehicles reached 112.5 thousand units nationwide, an 11% increase compared to the previous month. Higher market activity was recorded across all major segments.
The passenger car segment recorded a monthly increase of 12.7%, reaching 95.4 thousand units. The strongest dynamics were observed in Namangan, Jizzakh, and Bukhara regions, where sales rose by more than 20%. Meanwhile, slight declines in activity were registered in Samarkand region and the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
Primary Market Dynamics
In October, passenger car sales in the primary market grew by nearly 19%, equivalent to an increase of 6 thousand units.
Within the segment, sales of newly produced domestically manufactured passenger cars reached 33.4 thousand units, marking a 22% rise compared to the previous month.
Sales of new imported cars also exceeded September levels, albeit with a modest 1.1% increase, amounting to 4.5 thousand units.
Secondary Market on the Rise
In October, sales in the secondary passenger car market increased by 9% compared to the previous month, reaching 57.4 thousand units.
Sales of used electric vehicles exceeded 3 thousand units, rising by 15.2% month-on-month. Compared to the same period last year, sales of pre-owned EVs grew 2.3 times.
