In January-December 2022, CIS countries accounted for 38.4% of the foreign trade turnover of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
At the same time, the share of CIS countries in the total foreign trade turnover in January-December 2022 increased by 0.6% compared to the corresponding period of 2021, and the share of other foreign countries decreased by 0.6% respectively and amounted to 61.6%.
The foreign trade turnover of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the CIS countries in January-December 2022 increased by 20.5% and amounted to $19.2 billion, of which: exports increased by 44.6% to $7.9 billion, and imports – by 8.0% to $11.3 billion.
