Uzbekistan, Saudi Arabia Build Energy Future Together

As part of the project, the Saudi side will attract $ 1.2 billion in direct investment and create more than 1,000 jobs during the construction and operation phases.

On 24 January, an official ground-breaking ceremony for Syrdarya CCGT 1500 MW Power Plant and TPP took place in Tashkent with the participation of Saudi Arabia delegation led by the Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih.

Power Purchase Agreements and Investment Agreements were signed for Wind Power Plants in Bukhara and Navoi regions with a total capacity of 1000 MW.

The event aims at assisting in the implementation of energy capacities in Uzbekistan.
