To assess the economic situation in Uzbekistan, CERR experts conduct monthly monitoring of the state of business activity at the regional and district levels. The analysis showed an increase in budget revenues and a steady trend.
The monitoring results showed that tax revenues for the month increased by 7.3%.
A significant increase in revenues was recorded in the Jizzakh (+40.4%), Syrdarya (+24.6%), Tashkent (+23.8%) and Navoi (+20.8%) regions.
In terms of sources, income tax revenues increased by 24%, property tax by 27% and land tax by 21%.
The lowest tax receipts are observed in Khorezm (-4.9%), Kashkadarya (-7.7%) regions and in the Republic of Karakalpakstan (-8.4%).
Receipts on customs payments increased by 22.7%. The largest increase in receipts was recorded in Jizzakh (+117.4%), Surkhandarya (+72.5%), Samarkand (+34.8%), Andijan (+25.8%), Tashkent (+24.7%) regions and in Tashkent (+28%).
The increase in customs revenues is mainly due to an increase in import for such types of products as transport equipment and its components, technical equipment, metal and metal products, electrical engineering and its components, and food.
According to the Customs Committee, export of goods have decreased by 5.3% since the beginning of the year, which is due, among other things, to a reduction in export of yarn, mineral fertilizers, knitwear, metals and products, food and fruit and vegetable products, plastics, natural gas, electrical products and fertilizers.
At the same time, the most noticeable export growth was recorded in Khorezm (+44.9%), Kashkadarya (+35.2%) and Samarkand (+12.1%) regions.
The volume of loans issued by commercial banks for the month of October increased by 10.9%.
The issuance of loans increased in almost all regions of the republic, the largest growth in October was shown by Navoi (+53.4%), Syrdarya (+32.4%), Jizzakh (+27.0%), Khorezm (+18.9%) regions and Tashkent (+21.0%).
During the month, transactions on the UzEx decreased by 2.4%. At the same time, there is a noticeable increase in exchange activity in the Syrdarya (+21.4%) region, the Republic of Karakalpakstan (+7.0%) and Tashkent (+5.2%).
The growth in the volume of transactions in these regions is ensured by increasing the sale of such goods as construction and household materials, wheat flour, cotton fiber, technical seeds, wheat, liquefied gas, non-ferrous metals, diesel fuel, automobile gasoline, mineral fertilizers, sugar, rolled ferrous metals and polyethylene, etc.
In October, 72,325 new economic entities were created, the largest number of which were registered in Ferghana (6,784), Samarkand (6,228), Tashkent (5,883), Khorezm (5,379), the Republic of Karakalpakstan (5,104) and the city of Tashkent (14,210).
