We present an interview with Veronika Movchan, consultant of the independent consulting company "Berlin Economics" and senior expert on trade policy issues of the German Economic Team in Uzbekistan (GET Uzbekistan) — concerning the potential and prospects of Uzbekistan's accession to the WTO.
The trajectory of Uzbekistan's movement to the WTO
In the next three years, Uzbekistan plans to double the export of finished products. Joining the World Trade Organization will allow establishing a fair trade system with 164 countries and finding stable markets. To date, negotiations with three States have almost been completed.
