Dear children!
Dear teachers, mentors and parents!
I sincerely and wholeheartedly congratulate all of you on Knowledge Day, which this year is being celebrated in harmony with the great holiday — the 35th anniversary of the independence of our Motherland.
On this joyful day, I extend my warmest wishes to nearly 800,000 boys and girls who, with excitement and curiosity, great dreams and hopes, are crossing the threshold of school for the first time, as well as to their parents and the entire teaching community.
May the new academic year become a year of educational and intellectual advancement throughout the country’s education system and in the life of our schools, lyceums, technical colleges and universities!
Dear participants of the celebration!
Thanks to the large-scale reforms implemented in recent years in the field of education and upbringing, the schools of New Uzbekistan are being fundamentally transformed and taking on a new appearance, while the quality of education continues to improve.
The children who grow and develop in this environment, delighting their parents and mentors with their first successes in education and vocational training, as well as achievements in IT, creativity, sports and public life, are our wonderful future and our golden reserve.
In the growing number of such educated, diligent and purposeful young people, we see the beginnings of the Third Renaissance. Our sacred duty is to raise them so that, like a tree with strong roots, they become a reliable pillar of our progress.
Undoubtedly, we will continue to give priority to the development of education and upbringing, which serve as a solid foundation for achieving such great goals. We will create all the necessary conditions so that young men and women entering adult life after graduating from school possess not only profound knowledge but also at least one modern profession. To this end, we will establish “Cities of Professions” in the regions, introduce advanced practices and engage leading specialists.
Dear children, the key that opens the doors to a happy and prosperous life, helps you find answers to difficult questions, and enables you to overcome with dignity the trials and challenges you may encounter on your life journey is knowledge — and knowledge alone.
Value every minute of your wonderful youth. Diligently acquire new knowledge, master innovations, professions and crafts, deeply study our native language, our rich history and culture, as well as world history and foreign languages. Never stop learning and always remain in pursuit of knowledge.
Love with all your heart and soul this sacred land inherited from our ancestors, and always remain devoted to your Motherland and your people!
Remember that your closest friends and advisers on this path are your caring teachers and parents!
May the new academic year begin with excellent grades for you, and may you successfully complete every school term. I wish you good health and success.
Once again, dear children, I congratulate all of you on Knowledge Day!
